Job Description
This is an opportunity to join the Global Supply Chain organization and provide operation planning service to a cluster of domestic manufacturing plants. The role is required to:
- Be an integral part of Sales and Operational (S&OP) process and lead key governance forums, such as manufacturing control tower, supply side S&OP, business dialogues etc.
- Be responsible for managing supply and demand, transactions on Cipla systems, monitoring export orders, process improvements, inventory monitoring and management and cross functional co-ordination for debottlenecking and issue resolution.
- Be responsible for key metric OTIF, lead time and throughput.
- Be responsible for key initiatives such as stabilization of control tower for the allotted cluster of export manufacturing plants for achieving OTIF of 90%.
- Evaluate capacity based on demand and assist in developing recommendations on possible loss of supply, and prioritizing.
- Work towards setting correct inventory norms based on past consumption and forecasts.
- Be responsible for proactively communicating the status of availability of products in aforementioned forums and reviews.
- Work collaboratively with business, procurement, quality, manufacturing, and R&D to meet shared objectives.
