Job Description:
The Incumbent is the member of the planning and Warehouse team responsible for Stores, Materials Planning, inventory management Logistics and distribution functions in compliant with applicable Corporate policies, Plant SOPs, cGMP, Inventory norms, Distribution Purchase and Planning Procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. To lead, guide, direct. Motivate, counsel, evaluate, discipline, and allocate work to the Team of Warehouse Operators.
2. To prepare/review SOPs and related attachments and conduct Training/skill test/assessment and related documentation on Departmental SOPs
3. To assist Assistant Manager Planning &Warehouse to prepare six monthly/monthly /daily Production Plan, Material Plans, shortages list /dispatch plan.
4. To execute monthly and daily dispatch /Production/Material plan.
5. To oversee proper Housekeeping and Pest control in the department and maintaining documentation thereof in liaison with Administration function.
6. To supervise the scrap disposal process and to prepare required documentation thereof.
7. To ensure proper environmental control in the dept and liaison with Engineering dept for deviations if any, To initiate MIRS in case of any unplanned deviations /excursions and follow up thereof.
8. To supervise dispensing of Material to production dept.
9. To liaise and co ordinate with QA& Technical services dept for release of material/batches and sampling
10. To coordinate with Production dept for receipt of Material for dispatch
Skills / Knowledge / Qualification / Experience
1. Any gradutate
2. 0 to 1 year of experience in planning and warehouse function of a pharmaceutical manufacturing unit.
