Ph.D Pharmacy Admission 2013

Ph.D in Pharm Sciences Admission 2013

Specialization: Pharmaceutics, Quality Assurance, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Biotech, Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Eligibility: M.Pharm with minimum 60% of marks; or M.Pharm at first attempt with minimum 55%/grade B at master’s level and B.Pharm with minimum 60%/grade A at bachelor level

Candidates must have completed PG in stipulated duration as per university/institution awarding degree

Any qualifying bachelor’s/master degree completed by distance or correspondence mode will not be eligible to apply

Candidates having experience in Pharma sector will be preferred

Industry sponsored candidates are also eligible to apply

Duration: Duration of the programme 3 to 5 years

Intake: Total number of seats 28

Selection Process: NMIMS entrance test; presentation based on SOP followed by personal interview

During interviews, doctoral candidates are expected to discuss their research interest/area

Admission will be purely on merit as per candidate’s performance in test and personal interview

Candidates those who have qualified in NET/SET/GATE/JRF examination of the apex bodies in higher/technical professional education such as UGC, CSIR, ICMR or other equivalent examinations (DST/DBT) are exempted from NMIMS entrance test

However they have to appear for personal interview

List of documents; copy of duly filled online application form; graduation, post graduation mark sheet and certificate (attested copy); work experience certificate (if required); SOP-statement of purpose should briefly describe the area of research interest; UGC/CSIR/ICMR or other equivalent exam certificate (if appear)
